After fifteen years as a professional accountant, Kim recently joined the VSH team in 2022. Specializing in domestic taxation for businesses and individuals and estates & trusts – she brings an impressive range of experience to her new role!

Kim’s journey to accounting was guided by her previous career in Human Resources. Drawing on experience from both interpreting employment law and acting as an estate executor, Kim uses these skillsets to help clients make informed decisions about their finances or business operations. She brings a personal touch when it comes to understanding complex tax laws, giving each client the confidence they need for success!

Kim has lived in Bellingham on and off since attending Western Washington University, but always felt that it truly was Belling-“home” and decided to stay. When she is not working with clients, she is with family, her husband (Jeremy), her two daughters (Audrey & Julia), two chihuahua-corgi-pug mixes, four bantam chickens, and five aquariums with South American and African cichlids. According to Kim, “The only thing we are missing is a partridge in a pear tree.” She also enjoys funk music, art, reading, and adventuring!
