Robert Sytsma, CPA, ABV, CFF, CExP™
Partner Emeritus
Bob has a passion for and leads the business valuation and transition planning services group at VSH. He has established himself as a trusted business advisor and is uniquely qualified to advise in both business valuation and exit planning, having earned ABV and CExP designations while applying skills and experience forged throughout his career. He has advised business owners who are selling as well as those looking to grow by acquisition. Bob considers transition planning a current business strategy and believes making companies stronger creates community wealth, a win-win approach.
Good planning gives business owners control of their timing for stepping away from their businesses, another reason why Bob enjoys leading the transition advisory team. He is experienced in advising owners who sell internally to key employees or family members as well as to outside parties and is deeply knowledgeable of the structure surrounding both. Furthermore, Bob is certified in forensic accounting and is experienced in due diligence analysis. He works with businesses in a variety of industries in the Pacific Northwest, helping them plan for the future as they grow and overcome obstacles.
Bob is a founding partner of VSH and has been practicing in public accounting since 1979. Bob participates in the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Technology Alliance Group.
