A Glimpse into Bridget’s Journey
Bridget’s path into accounting was shaped by her experience as a small business owner and consultant, where she saw firsthand how critical strong financial organization and planning are to long-term success. With a naturally analytical mindset and a passion for helping others bring structure to complex information, she found accounting to be a meaningful way to support businesses and individuals alike.
Before entering public accounting, Bridget began her career in the nonprofit sector, serving as a Development Director. In that role, she led fundraising campaigns, managed donor relationships, and organized community events. These experiences built a strong foundation in relationship-building, strategic planning, and financial stewardship.
A defining and deeply rewarding moment in her professional journey came during her time as a Development Director, when a combination of strategic planning, community engagement, and creative event execution resulted in the organization raising more funds than any previous year, both through underwriting support and signature music and dinner fundraisers. Seeing the impact of those efforts, not just in numbers but in renewed community energy and support, reinforced Bridget’s passion for combining financial strategy with mission-driven work. That experience continues to shape how she approaches her work in accounting today, with purpose, empathy, and a focus on meaningful results.
