Bridget Meyer is a Senior Tax Accountant in the Owner Operator Tax department at VSH CPAs, with two years of experience in public accounting, all of which she has spent with the firm. In her role, Bridget supports tax preparation and compliance, researches tax issues, reviews financial statements, and provides client communication and support. She works closely with small to mid-sized businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and real estate investors, helping them navigate tax requirements with clarity and confidence.

A Glimpse into Bridget’s Journey

Bridget’s path into accounting was shaped by her experience as a small business owner and consultant, where she saw firsthand how critical strong financial organization and planning are to long-term success. With a naturally analytical mindset and a passion for helping others bring structure to complex information, she found accounting to be a meaningful way to support businesses and individuals alike.

Before entering public accounting, Bridget began her career in the nonprofit sector, serving as a Development Director. In that role, she led fundraising campaigns, managed donor relationships, and organized community events. These experiences built a strong foundation in relationship-building, strategic planning, and financial stewardship.

A defining and deeply rewarding moment in her professional journey came during her time as a Development Director, when a combination of strategic planning, community engagement, and creative event execution resulted in the organization raising more funds than any previous year, both through underwriting support and signature music and dinner fundraisers. Seeing the impact of those efforts, not just in numbers but in renewed community energy and support, reinforced Bridget’s passion for combining financial strategy with mission-driven work. That experience continues to shape how she approaches her work in accounting today, with purpose, empathy, and a focus on meaningful results.

Client-Centered Solutions, Grounded in Trust and Understanding

Bridget approaches client service with a collaborative, empathetic, and solutions-focused mindset. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals, challenges, and communication style, allowing her to tailor her support to their unique needs.

For Bridget, client success means helping clients feel confident, informed, and supported in their financial decisions. It is not just about delivering accurate reports or meeting deadlines. It is about building relationships where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She works toward this by listening carefully, providing clarity, being proactive, and following through so clients have the information and support they need to move forward with confidence.

Life Outside the Office

Outside of work, Bridget enjoys staying active, creative, and connected to nature. Her interests include gardening, cooking, traveling, attending concerts, and participating in a wide range of activities, from disc golf and bowling to exploring new places. She shares her home with two dogs, Tucker and Otis, and two cats, Lana and Jaws. Bridget and her husband are passionate about travel, both domestically and internationally, and enjoy staying connected with friends around the world.
