Lloyd Sandquist

Lloyd brings over 35 years of experience to the VSH accounting and audit department. Throughout his career, he has provided assurance services to a wide range of privately held businesses, employee benefit plans, and not-for-profit organizations. Lloyd joins VSH in 2023 as a Senior Assurance Manager, where he strives to enhance the technical quality of assurance service engagements through review and technical training.

Lloyd identifies with this Aristotle philosophy: “We are what we repeatedly do... therefore excellence is not an act, but a habit.” He puts this line of thinking into action with his work and attributes his analytical nature and his belief in continuous improvement to his success. Lloyd sees accounting as the language through which business activity functions and he takes pride in acting as a “translator” for business clients.

Raised in Shoreline, WA, Lloyd now resides in Mill Creek, WA with his wife, Janet. They have two cats they recently adopted. He has 2 adult children. Lloyd loves traveling, particularly to Europe where he gets to indulge in his love of history. Outside of work, Lloyd can most likely be found on a tennis court. He has been on 4 USTA (United States Tennis Association) tennis league teams which have gone to their National Championship Tournaments.
