Madison began her professional career at VSH, starting as an intern in 2015. She is a graduate of Western Washington University, where she received both her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Master of Professional Accounting. Madison also holds a CPA designation, which she earned in 2016.

Madison leverages the knowledge and experience she has acquired over the years to find solutions to clients’ varied and often unique needs. One of the many things that Madison enjoys about her role at VSH is working closely with small businesses owners and operators. Acting as their Partner in business, Madison provides them with professional guidance and accounting services.

As a leader of VSH’s Owner Operator department, Madison specializes in tax compliance and planning for owner operated businesses. She enjoys helping clients from a wide array of industries (not limited to real estate, construction, manufacturing, restaurants and hospitality) to understand complex tax concepts. Madison takes an empathic approach to her work and strives for her relationships with clients to be more than just the “numbers.” She likes to know the business from the inside out.

Madison grew up in Whatcom County and loves having all her family close by, especially now that she is a new mom of a baby boy. When she is not working with clients, she enjoys binge watching her favorite show, Gilmore Girls, attending a spin class, or adventuring anywhere that has sunny weather. Her favorite trip was visiting the island of Pico, in the Azores of Portugal, where her great, great grandparents were born.
