With over two decades of experience in the accounting profession, David has a wealth of knowledge to draw upon. Throughout his career, he has become the go-to expert for domestic and owner-operated business tax planning matters as well as state and local tax (SALT) research.

Joining the VSH team in 2022, David’s main concentration is tax consulting and client management. His industry specialization includes construction, agriculture, professional services, retail, and wholesale.

When you work with David, you can count on his vast knowledge and can-do attitude to help navigate challenging situations. He subscribes to the quote by Robert Frost, “The best way out is always through.” With this mantra in mind, David treats clients with the utmost concern and care. Coming from a family line of accountants, David credits his grandfather for leading by example and showing him the importance of hard work and integrity.

Raised in Bellingham, David now resides in Sedro Woolley with his wife of almost 30 years. He has 4 children, of which 2 are teachers, and 2 are currently attending college. When not at work, you can find him taking advantage of the outdoor activities Washington has to offer, his favorites include camping, hiking, and bicycling.
